Our approach to your son or daughter's mitzvah is highly individualized. Each family has its own needs. We are able to change our type and duration of coverage to suit your specific needs. We can also sculpt a package for you that can include tradition albums, folios, framed enlarged photos, canvases, images boxes or digital albums on CD-R. We can post your event online on a special website where people can surf in and purchase their own copies, or, if you want to pay for the negatives, we can post the event online for free and allow your friends and family to download and print whatever photos they would like. It's all up to you!

Our typical coverage involves a preliminary photo shoot of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah during their rehearsal period at the synagogue on the Tuesday or Thursday prior to the event. This is when we capture the "Torah Shot", taken over the child's shoulder as they move the yad over the scriptures. It gives us a good opportunity to discuss things with the Rabbi concerning procedures during the actual ceremony. We recognize that each congregation has its own rules concerning photography during the actual Shabbat services. We will work with the rules of each synagogue. If photography during the actual Bar/Bat Mitzvah is prohibited, the preliminary rehearsal photography becomes very important. The "Torah Shot" makes for a stunning 16x20 canvas.

Below are example of our current album styles. Our Bar/Bat Mitzvah Album is a 10x10” ten page (20 sides) flush-mount Italian Leather Album with 40+ images of the day. We have determined that it is close to impossible to adequately contain the number of images necessary to capture the events of the day in the typical industry 4x6" or 5x7" album. As such, we have researched extensively and have developed our Bar/Bat Mitzvah packages with FULL SIZE 10x10" flush mounted, digitally montaged images. Please look at a few examples of the actual album pages below. Please click on the images to see enlargements. Please note the use of natural light and special star filters to create soft, appealing images that are timeless and elegant. All of our final album images are retouched to bring out the best in everyone.

Here are some additional examples of Torah shots and the digital process whereby we remove the distractions and allow the Bar/Bat Mitzvah to feature more prominently in his/her Torah shot.
